J+M Infrastructure is a Civil-Site & Utilities Contractor, who excels in Civil Construction and Site Development Contracting, with an emphasis on Utilities, and Excavation We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer, storm drainage, throughout central and southwest Virginia.

We are focused on building a team of dynamic, motivated individuals who are more than just employees but valued and respected players. People are our priority! We are currently seeking a Pipe Layer.

Our ideal candidate has experience installing Water mains – Ductile & PVC, Gravity Sewer, Storm Drainage, Conduits & Duct Banks. This candidate must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude, and be willing to get hands dirty and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

General Requirements:

  • Must have previous construction experience
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Must have own transportation to job sites
  • Must be able to lift 60lbs, squat, and climb ladders
  • Must be able to read a tape measure
  • Must work safely
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Willing to work overtime on Saturdays
  • Must pass drug test/screening
  • Must possess a positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Will need to provide three-character references
  • Background Check Required
Pay:  $16-23 per hour DOE
Benefits:  Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, PTO, Paid Holidays and Referral Program
Schedule: 40-55 hours per week, typically Monday-Friday, Overtime is possible
